  • Ask questions based on different scenarios
  • What is your definition of hard work?
  • Is it better to be perfect and late, or good and on time?
  • Who is the smartest person you know personally? Why?
  • If I were to poll everyone you’ve worked with, what percentage would not be a fan of yours?
  • If you had $40,000 to build your own business, what would you do?
  • Ask questions about the past that might be a potential predictor of future results
  • Tell me about a time you set difficult goals and can you give me a specific example on how you achieved them?
  • What were the steps taken to deliver those results?
  • How do you like to be managed so you perform to your best level?
  •  Ask questions that align with specific competencies required for the job position
  • Can you give me an example of your leadership skills?
  • Are you comfortable with working independently?
  • Ask for any final thoughts before formally ending the interview
  • Do you have any questions for me?
  • Let them know how they will be contacted about the hiring decision
  • Thank them for their time and showing interest in the job position
